Thirty years of Sportsman Pilot Magazine

Due to the passing of Sportsman Pilot editor Jack Cox, and managing editor Golda Cox, subscriptions and back issues are no longer available.

Following are the issues of Sportsman Pilot still in stock. In addition to the contents listed, each issue begins with a "Kaleidoscope" section that, as the name implies, contains short items on all sorts of interesting aviation related items. The "Cruisin' Carolina" and "Cruisin' California" items are reports on visits to various airports, aircraft kit manufacturers, individual projects, aviation museums, fly-ins, and much more. In many instances, new projects, such as Burt Rutan's Boomerang and Jon Sharp's Nemesis racer, are being reported on for the very first time; including photos of the aircraft while still under construction- photos never seen elsewhere to this day.
